March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) changed the status of the current outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) from a public health emergency of international concern to a pandemic.  We understand this impact this has on our global event community in affected areas.  To support your health and well-being, it is highly suggested that you closely monitor the official guidance from health authorities, local governments, and the WHO.  As things with the Covid-19 restrictions continue to change, please check back for the status of any events that RING16 might be involved with.  If you are a magician who performs on a regular basis, be aware of certain tricks you perform for the public.  For instance, if you use a deck of cards, it is suggested that you should not let a spectator handle the deck that you have been using.  Instead, just show some clever flourishes that they can just marvel at.  In other words, do not hand your props out to be touched or examined.  Make sure you wash your hands, and use some sort of anti-bacterial wipe or lotion.   Let’s not spread germs!

We are now having our regular monthly meetings IN-PERSON on the 1st Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise stated), either at The Memphis Botanic Gardens or at Germantown Presbyterian Church (See EVENTS).  We’re very excited about this and hope all who are interested in magic come to the meeting.  FACIAL COVERINGS are recommended at this time, but as long as you have been vaccinated for Covid, it is not required.  Do whatever makes you comfortable.

Contact us and get the latest info about our next upcoming meetings and events.

If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact one of the RING16 officers.

Please pass this information on to others you know that might not have access to computers, or the internet.  Thank You!
